I absolutely love doing podcasts. Maybe it is because I am not worried about how my hair looks, if my posture is good, or which camera to look at that causes me to enjoy the experience better than TV interviews. Recently, I had a chance to sit down with Crazy Good Turns and talk about my life experiences, the starting of my organization and the lessons that I learned along the way in a podcast. Almost 9 years after my initial diagnosis, I was surprised to realize my answer to one of Brad’s questions. What had I learned along the way? Typically, this answer is thrown into a soundbite for TV or magazines, but during the podcast, I was really able to talk in depth regarding my answer and as it was coming out of my mouth- it even surprised me. But it is true. I hope that you enjoy the podcast and enjoy meeting one of my favorite people in the world, Katrina- my kick-ass cancer friend!
